Joey Le Soldat est un rappeur de Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) et membre du groupe WAGA 3000 avec ART MELODY et DJ FORM. Joey le Soldat poursuit le combat du journaliste burkinabé Norbert Zongo, directeur du journal l’Indépendant,et sauvagement assassiné le 13 décembre 1998. Une description réaliste du Burkina Faso par ce jeune diplômé en lettre moderne de l’université de Ouagadougou (laissé sans emploi comme tant d’autres au Burkina) et dont le combat se prolonge dans le HIP HOP. Une plume aiguisée en français et en mooré, sur des instrus produites par Redrum et DJ Form, pour dire la vérité et prolonger le combat de ceux qui croient en une Afrique libre.

Joey Le Soldat is a Ouagadougou rapper (Burkina Faso) and member of the band WAGA 3000 with ART MELODY and DJ FORM. Joey the Soldier carries on the fight of Burkinabe journalist Norbert Zongo, the director of the newspaper l’Indépendant (« the Independent ») and was savagely murdered on December 13th, 1998. A realistic description of the Burkina Faso by this young graduate in modern letter of the university of Ouagadougou (left unemployed as so many others in the Burkina) and whose fight goes on through HIP-HOP.
